This ceremony is
a special bond between two people. Gay marriages have not yet been
recognised in law, but to the gay couples concerned their commitment
to each other is the same as in any heterosexual ceremony. It is a
way of expressing your love and commitment to each other either
privately or anywhere you choose. Some suggestions are at home, in a
park, by the beach or in some gardens.
I will listen to your needs, offer suggestions and advice and
prepare a ceremony ‘just for you’. There is very little difference
to the other wedding ceremonies, where verses, ring exchange and
promises/vows may be incorporated. I simply substitute the word
‘partner’ for ‘Wife/husband’.
This ceremony does not involve any legal requirements and I will
offer a sensitive, personalised ceremony, with care and
understanding.
